As most people might already know HP has released last year their advfs source code under GPLv2 inteded to help developers wanting to develop new file systems with “similar capabilities” and perhaps use it “to make tweaks to existing file systems”. After that I felt I could - or would like to - do something with that - once I like to hack file systems - and then decided to start a rewriting or a linux port of advfs.
Today I started coding it, and few lines were written. That`s not an announcement but a first note about the “project”.
